TXT records: These are multi-purpose records that are used to store text-based information. It is most commonly used to verify the ownership of the domain.
MX Records: MX records are the Mail Exchange records in DNS entry which is necessary for delivering the email to the specified email address.
CNAME records: CNAME means a canonical name record that is used to map an alias name to a canonical domain name.
Steps to edit DNS records:
- Login to the cPanel account of the domain you need to manage records
- Search as Zone Editor which is under the Domains section
- Click on Manage for the domain that you want to edit
- All records will be listed, you can click on edit and modify it.
- If you want to add a new record, click +Add Record
- Once you edited, finally click on Save All Records
