SeekaHost provides you an easy way of transferring your domains from other domain registrars to us. In this article, we have guided you on how to transfer domains from NameSilo to SeekaHost.

Before you start the process of transferring domains from NameSilo to SeekaHost, you should check that the following conditions apply.

• The domains which are expired cannot be transferred. Before transferring, you should renew the domains.
• The domains you have registered in NameSilo must be more than 60 days old. (It’s common for any domain registrar).
• Recent domain transfers to NameSilo, are not allowed to make the transfer to other domain registrars.

Steps to transfer domains from NameSilo

STEP 1: Login

Login to your NameSilo account.

STEP 2: Manage Domains

At first, click on ‘Manage All Domains’ to view the list of all domains.

To start a transfer, the domain must be unlocked. To unlock, you must select the checkbox which is near to the domain and click on ‘Unlock Domains’.

STEP 3: Auth Code

Authorization code (EPP Code) is very much necessary while transferring the domains. After unlocking the domains, the EPP code will be available for the domain which must be used at your new registrar.

STEP 4: Whois Privacy

Before beginning the transfer of domains, check ‘Whois’ information for the domains. To check, click on the particular domain to be transferred and you will be able to see in the option ‘Privacy Setting’.

STEP 5: Transfer Manager

On the same page, click on ‘Transfer Manager’ on the right side of the dashboard and scroll down. You can see the list of domains in the transfer list which is available on the ‘Pending Outbound Transfer’ option. After the submission of the email for the transfer of domains the transfer will be started. Once you have received the EPP Code your registered mail id. You can start the process at your destination registrar, as mentioned in the following steps.

Transfer your domains to SeekaHost:

You can transfer your domain at SeekaHost only after receiving the EPP Code (Authentication Code).

STEP 1: Register

You have to be a registered user in SeekaHost – Steps for Creating Account in SeekaHost

STEP 2: Transfer

Under Domains Drop-Down, Select “Transfer Domains to Us”.

Step 3 – Available to Order

Fill the domain and check Availability.

If your domain is already registered with us it will show- the domain you entered is already registered with us – you will need to cancel it prior to placing a new order.

If your domain is not registered anywhere it will show – you cannot transfer a domain that isn’t registered.

If the domain is available to transfer you can enter the EPP code and click on “Order Now“.

Step 4 – Enter the EPP Code

Enter the EPP code you have received from your previous registrar and Update the cart.

You can select DNS Management and Email Forwarding as they are free, whereas ID protection is of your choice. Enabling ID Protection will restrict the 3^rd party from seeing your personal details with WhoIs information.

Step 5 – Review & Checkout

If you have a promotion code fill and click on validate code, else click on Check Out and process the payment to place the order.

For the domain transfer to get completed, it might take from 5 to 7 days from the date you have processed the payments at SeekaHost (Destination Registrar).
